Chapman Ambassadors

At Chapman there are many ways for a student to get involved. One of the most recognized groups on campus are the Chapman Ambassadors. Chosen to represent the student population, these individuals wear bright red blazers and volunteer at events for Alumni, Donors, and Trustees. This past weekend, the Ambassadors participated in the largest scholarship fundraising event; American Celebration. This Broadway-style event consists of two nights. Friday is opening night for Parents and Alumni and Saturday is the Gala for all Donors, Trustees, Honorees and their guests. This year’s show focused on the history of Chapman University, celebrating the 150th Anniversary of the school and the 30th Anniversary of American Celebration. The show consists of a live band and students from our music, dance, and theater departments. On Saturday, the Ambassadors welcomed Chapman’s honored guests and escorted them to the cocktail reception, the show in Memorial Hall, and then into the giant and elegant tent for dinner and dancing. It is such an enjoyable night benefiting scholarships for Chapman Students. I always love this event as an Ambassador volunteer. Not only do I get to see my friends perform on stage, but I get to interact with the great supporters of Chapman. I will defiantly plan to attend this event as an Alumnus!
