First month in and things are in full swing! The beginning of this year I was worried about getting in a sophomore state of mind because people kept telling me things don't really get better than freshman year. So far, they stand corrected. Sophomore year is even better here at Chapman. I finally feel like I know what's going on. Anyways this month started off great after finishing my week of being an Orientation Assistant to out newest, largest and smartest class of amazing incoming freshman, I celebrated by going to the city's annual labor day weekend street fair. I didn't have a chance to go last year and man oh man, was it so much fun! What I love so much about Chapman is how our university is so community based that when the city puts on events like this, not only the Chapman community comes out for the good time, but the entire Orange community as well! It was a great way to celebrate and enjoy this weekend will all my fellow schoolmates and the surrounding families. I got some good food, listened to some good music and got a nice, fun and laid back weekend to kickoff the start of my even better sophomore year. If the rest of this year goes as well as my first month, i'm in for a fantastic year!- Amita
