This past semester I traveled the world on Semester at Sea. It was the most incredible experience of my life without a doubt. Throughout my trip, I got to see world landmarks such as The Christ Redeemer Statue in Rio de Janero, The Taj Mahal in India, and the Great Wall of China in Beijing. I now understand why my mom told me she would disown me from the family if I didn't study abroad. I feel like I have a new worldly perspective that I didn't have before I left. I have an appreciation for life to a much greater degree and I understand that you truly can't take anything for granted. No matter where your college journey takes you, make sure that your four years include a semester abroad. You won't regret it, and you will grow immensely.- Joe
