Orange County has plenty to offer its residents: theme parks, beaches, nightlife, dining, and of course, shopping. One of the most recent additions to the entertainment scene around Orange is the reopening of The Yost Theatre just a few weeks ago. Originally one of the oldest theatres in Orange County (built in 1912!) was recently taken over by two entrepreneurs in 2009 to bring the theater back to life. After a complete “Venue Make-over” the building is now the oldest theatre with the newest technology. The new venue has subtle elegance & retro glamor. Very attentive staff, gorgeous lighting, and the sound is spectacular! The venue has already booked big names and the upcoming events calendar looks promising.
In addition to the reopening, The Yost sets aside a significant percentage of profits from its operations to subsidize cultural and entrepreneurial based education programs for teens in Santa Ana.
Looks like Los Angeles just moved a little bit closer…
