I'm going to be a Sophomore here at Chapman this coming fall, and I had such an amazing experience my freshman year that I couldn't stand leaving for the whole summer. So I didn't. I decided on spending the summer here at the university and despite common misconception, there is STILL SO MUCH TO DO!. I am working my school year job about 20 hours a week and it's nice because I don't have to work weekends or nights, so I still get to enjoy my summer. Both the Chapman gym and pool are open for students' use and I still get to live super close to Disneyland and the beach. Also, all university offices are still open so I've had major personalized time with a career counselor building my resume and have had appointments with the global studies office discussing study abroad options. No stress and nothing but time to do all the things I need and want to do. Sounds like a sweet deal to me!
