On August 29th, the school year will begin here at Chapman University, and it will be my last as an undergraduate. For the past three years I have accumulated class credits, invaluable experiences, and friendships that will last a lifetime, but have I truly been prepared for the harsh realities of the "real" world? Is my matriculation complete?
I feel with overwhelming confidence that I can say, yes. I am ready. A part of me will always miss the times I've had at Chapman University, from pledging my fraternity, to finishing my first film, and finally helping to start the new men's ice hockey team, but it is these very experiences that have given me the foundation I need to excel in my chosen profession.
Never do I need to worry or fear the unknown. I entered into Chapman with no idea of what to expect or who I would become. But today I can say that through challenging myself academically, socially, and physically, I will leave Chapman a far better person than when I entered.
