Orientation Week

Fall orientation officially starts tomorrow! A week of debriefing, informing, and preparation for incoming freshman and new transfers. New students will all come together and start the exciting process of becoming a Chapman student. Speaking from experience, orientation week is the start of a very exciting four years.

One of my most memorable experiences was living in Henley Hall as a freshman. It was one of the biggest adjustments I have ever made but also one of the greatest. I was lucky enough to room with two incredible roommates on the FYE (First Year Experience) floor. Living in a community with other freshman helped me ease into Chapman and was never overwhelmed. Living in the dorms is a life-changing experience and I highly recommend it to all new incoming students.

Exploring Chapman is exciting as a new student. With some of the most beautiful architecture around, getting lost on campus can be fun. Chapman has a very manageable campus though and you will feel comfortable with your new school in no time.

During the week, orientation participants will hear fantastic speakers, meet fellow students, and above all else get a great feel for what Chapman is like. Enjoy the week by yourself, with some friends, or with your parents! Make sure you take advantage of all the great seminars and workshops available.

Don’t miss out on the incredible orientation week agenda… especially playfair!
